“Humbling” Tears of Joy As Chad A. Lee was telling us of his life changing experience about looking up from washing his brother Steven's feet and seeing the face of Jesus, Chad all of a sudden, got up from the table and said, "would anyone like their feet washed?" Bobby, to my left at the table, said he (Chad) "saw the face of Jesus! I want in on this, you can wash my feet!" Bobby had just been playing basketball and he was all sweaty, a little embarrassed, as he tore off his shoes and socks. Saying, "I want to be part of this, (Chad) saw Jesus' face. Bobby was still sitting on the bench at the table, Chad pulls out a wash cloth, soap, water, walks over to Bobby, puts a towel on the ground, kneels down on his knees, puts the water and soap on Bobby's feet and starts washing Bobby's feet. So gentle, it was as if Jesus was washing Bobby's feet "fact." I cried, my eyes filled like a pool, a pool full of water. I wept. My Spirit was moved as Chad, my brother in the Lord, ever so gently washed Bobby's feet, in between each toe. Even now as I write this I cry, trying to hold back tears of remembrance. My brother Chad, who I love with all my heart, took all of us to "real" church that day. I've never seen anything so humbling in my life. This experience was inspired by God, and so inspired will never leave the minds of who witnessed, the washing of a brother's feet. If you've ever "known in your heart" to wash someone's feet, listen to the Lord and experience the true love of our Lord Jesus. Michael White, servant of the Lord Jesus Christ Central Unit, P. O.
